Thanks and Menu position

Adam,
First I wanted to thank you for your work on this project.

Is it possible to reposition the menu?
I was hoping to be able to move it below the 'dnnLogo'
and Above the 'dnnBreadcrumb'
I am hoping the menu could span across the whole page
Any ideas how to accomplish this?

Hi Chris,

Yes, any of the design elements and skin objects can be moved. This will require you to make modifications to the .ascx and CSS files.

There have been a few request for a new Tidy layout where the logo is above the menu. Hopefully I can add this new layout to the next release.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need anything else.

Adam,
I spent a few hours looking at your project. I made some successful modifications that I think would work well for me but haven't happened on a solution for the relocation of the menu yet. Ha... I hate it when I am not smart enough to find success.

If you do find the time to work through another release I am guessing that the menu relocation would be a very popular option.

Hi Chris,

In Tidy's CSS the menu is absolutely positioned. Have you tried adjusting the #dnnMenu class in Tidy.css (line 320)? Perhaps remove the absolute positioning or adjusting the values?

Adam,
Thanks for the hint... that really helped.

Below is what I came up with
/*========================================================+
Menu to the right of the logo
+========================================================*/
/*#dnnMenu {
    display: block;
    bottom: 0px;
    right: 10px;
    position: absolute;
    z-index: 1000;
}
*/
/*========================================================+
Menu below the logo; aligned left
+========================================================*/
#dnnMenu {
    display: block;
    bottom: 0px;
    left: 0px;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 1000;
}

/*========================================================+
Menu above the logo; aligned left
+========================================================*/
/*#dnnMenu {
    display: block;
    top: 10px;
    left: 0px;
    position: absolute;
    z-index: 1000;
}*/
