tidy.css and content slider

I did have a look on the tidy skin, it is nicely composed!

I would like to use it on a site in which I also planned to use a "slider". The slider I would like to use is the one made by Will Strohl, called "Content Slider". http://dnncontentslider.codeplex.com/

Now if I use the Content Slider module with the Tidy skin, there is an issue. It took me a while to find out why the Content Slider images did not display when the tidy skin was in "mobile mode".

In the tidy.css there is a code as below:
.ModWillStrohlContentSliderC {
    display: none;
}

If I remove that code the images in the slider display.

What is the purpuse with the code above? It does not feel good to just remove it without first understand the details...

I use DNN 7.1.1 and Content Slider 1.2.1.

Hi Peter,

Yes, that is an artifact style from the original version of Tidy which I used at DNN World 2012 training. I used Will's Content Slider module to show how to hide specific element on mobile devices.

It can be safely removed or commented out without any negative affects to the skin. I will remove that style from the next release. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Adam
