selected item

Hi!
I use version 1.1.0 of Tidy.

If a topmenu is selectable and has at least one submenu which is also selectable, then if the top menu item is selected then all it´s submenu items are also selected.

How can this be solved?

Thanks for all good ideas!

Hello again!

I suddenly, after a "long struggle" found the solution myself.

In the stylesheet (tidy.css) there is a line for controling the top menu items, as the code below.

If the ">" sign is not there, then all sub menu items will be marked as selected as soon as the top menu item is selected.

dnnMenu .topLevel li.selected > a {

color: black;
text-decoration:underline;
}
Please give me your comments if you like. Is there any other way to get control of this? I am not very good at these details and would like to know some more.

Hi Peter,

Yes, this issue was fixed in 01.02.00.

You may want to check out the changes starting at line 599 - 637 to see if you can add this fix to your older version of Tidy:
https://tidy.codeplex.com/SourceControl/latest#Skins/Tidy/css/Tidy.css

Or you could install the latest version.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
